2.4 Review the Imported Data

Before running the extraction workflow, the user should review the imported data briefly to confirm that the uploaded files are complete and suitable for characterization.

Validation Steps

  1. Open the imported data preview if available.
  2. Confirm that the voltage and current traces look realistic.
  3. Check that the time axis is continuous and that the time values increase in order.
  4. Confirm that there are no obvious missing sections, duplicate rows, or sudden jumps in the data.
  5. Review a small sample of the dataset to ensure that the expected columns are present.

Example Data Continuity Check

The following example shows a small portion of the imported data that should appear continuous and structured.

Time (s)Voltage (V)Current (A)Temperature (°C)Capacity (Ah)
0.003.3000.00251.000
0.103.295-1.50250.998
0.203.290-1.50250.997
0.303.285-1.50250.996

This sample should be reviewed to confirm that the values progress smoothly and that the file contains the expected information.

Acceptance Check

  • The data preview looks complete and continuous.
  • The voltage and current values are within the expected operating range.
  • The time series is ordered and free from obvious gaps or irregular jumps.
  • The user is ready to proceed to characterization.
